My name is Angela Bair, and I am excited to begin my fifth year teaching at Robert E. Cashion! I moved August 2020 to Simpsonville from Orangeburg, SC. I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina (Columbia) where I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, and a masters degree in Natural Sciences. This is my twenty-ninth year of teaching. My husband, Kevin, and I have two daughters, Chloe and Ansley. We also have a puppy (Shelby), and two cats (Penelope and Tallulah).
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets, walking, hiking, and biking.
Fun Facts: My husband and daughters are also graduates of the University of South Carolina. My oldest daughter graduated from the University of Georgia Veterinarian School in May of 2025. She is practicing at an emergency vet hospital in Beaufort, SC. My youngest daughter is working as a vet tech at a veterinarian clinic in Mt. Pleasant, SC. We love animals!

Weekly Email
Dear Families,
We will not be emailing a class newsletter for these remaining weeks. Rather, we will include important dates and reminders in our emails. The school is also doing call outs for those of you who receive them. They include much of the same information that we will share. In class, we will continue to review for upcoming state tests, complete missing assignments, work on end of year class activities, and participate in end of year celebration events.
State testing will continue this week on Thursday and Friday. Students will take Math Part A on Thursday and Math Part B on Friday. Please see that your students are well rested and on time these days. The last testing day will be May 12 - Science. Make-up days will be scheduled as needed for absent students.

From the Nurse: All medication in the health room must be picked up by a parent. They need to call the nurse (355-8007) to set up a time the last week of school to come pick up medication. If not picked up by Friday, May 22 at 12:00 PM. The medication will be destroyed. This includes scheduled medication, inhalers, EPI pens, etc.
Volunteer Opportunity: Sign up here to help with Field Day! Help is still needed for various grade level events. Thanks in advance for your assistance and time.
We will be in touch as more information becomes available. Do reach out with any questions you may have.
