After living in Georgia my entire life, my family and I relocated to Simpsonville, SC in June 2014. While I was sad to leave my home state, I continue to enjoy discovering the Palmetto State. husband, Shane, and I continue to take family outings to all kinds of new family experiences. My daughter, Erin, is a sophomore and attends the University of South Carolina. My son, Tyler, is a freshman at Hillcrest High School.
After 20 years teaching in general, virtual, or special education classes, I still love to ask students questions and hear their answers. Sometimes their insight teaches me and sometimes it makes me laugh. Either way, it's a good day.
During the fall football season, you will often see my proudly wearing my Georgia Bulldog colors. Over the spring and summer, I enjoy a small herb and vegetable garden. Quite an accomplishment for someone who used to have trouble keeping a houseplant alive!
