About Me

So who am I? I am a graduate from North Greenville University with a degree in Secondary Education English Language Arts (that's a mouthful). I am happily married to a wonderful, beautiful, intelligent, and did I mention beautiful woman--Hannah. I also have three children, two boys and a little girl; their names are Judah (4), Silas (2), and Lydia (1). They are truly a joy and delight! I truly love to read, some of my favorites being Pilgrim's Progress, The Lord of the Rings, and The Stormlight Archive (I also love Harry Potter and Fahrenheit 451, and the list goes on and on). I like to think that I am a well-rounded person. Sports are a big part of my life as well, basketball and soccer in particular (Go Lakers and Liverpool!). Watching movies is one of my favorite pastimes. The greatest movie of all time of course being The Lord of the Rings. Adventures are always worth taking. This is my ninth year of teaching. I was at Hillcrest High School for the first 5. This is my fourth year at Eastside! I am a "people person" and am always wanting and willing to have a conversation or to lift someone's spirits. The biggest part of my life is my faith and relationship with Jesus. Some things that I love to do outside of school also include being at my church. I love to make people laugh and want everyone to experience true joy in his/her life. Below is a slideshow that states all that was previously written but with pictures.
