My name is McKenzie Riley. I have 24 years experience teaching. I have a BA degree in Political Science from USC-Spartanburg and a M.Ed. in Special Education from Converse College. We live in Mauldin but I am originally from Seneca. My wife, Amy, is a first grade teacher at Greenbrier Elementary. Our son, Aidan, is twenty one years old, our daughter Brynn is fifteen , and our son Colton is twelve years old. We have eight cats and a golden doodle named Charlotte. I have worked at Washington center for eighteen years and am extremely excited to have the opportunity to teach your children this year.
Makeyta Scott has been at Washington Center over 15 years and has worked with students of various ages. She is a South Carolina native. Makeyta attends Converse University and is in her senior year as a Child and Family Studies major. She enjoys traveling, journaling, reading various genres, and having fun and making memories with close friends and family. Makeyta expresses warm wishes for a wonderful school year.
Ava Brown has been at Washington Center for 13 years. Ava enjoys doing crocheting and cross stitching. Ava enjoys working with the students and looking forward to a new year.
