I would like to tell you a little about myself. This is my 28th year teaching. I am originally from Spartanburg but now live in Mauldin. I have a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from USC Upstate and an M.Ed in Elementary Education from Converse College.

My husband, McKenzie, is a teacher at Washington Center. We have three wonderful children: Aidan, Brynn, and Colton. Aidan just graduated from Lander University and is a first year Kindergarten Teacher, Brynn is in 10h grade, and Colton is in 8h grade.

I love reading, Clemson football, my cats, playing with our Goldendoodle (Charlotte) and spending time with my family. We spend Saturdays from August - November at Cross Country Meets with my youngest son. We love to travel, especially to the mountains. My favorite trips have been to the Cayman Islands, Yellowstone National Park, Acadia National Park in Maine, and visiting Niagara Falls from the Canadian side.
