Scholarships

Financial Aid and scholarships are offered through colleges and universities. Parents and students should complete the FAFSA form on the www.fafsa.ed.gov website after October 1 if they are applying for admission the following school year. Please check the college's website for application information from their financial aid office. 

Palmetto Fellows - 4 year school

Overview

• Up to $6,700 

  • Enhancements to the scholarship are also available

• Four-year college in SC 

• Application completed during senior year with Counselor 

• Renewable 

Eligibility

Early awards – throughout senior year 

• Eligible one of two ways: 

  1. Option 1 eligibility criteria 

     • 1200 on SAT (critical reading & math)/25 on ACT (composite) 

     • 3.5 GPA at end of junior year 

     • Top 6% of class at end of sophomore or junior year 

  2. Option 2 eligibility criteria

     • 1400 on SAT (critical reading & math)/31 on ACT (composite) 

     • 4.0 GPA at end of junior year 

Final awards – June deadline

• Eligible one of two ways:

Must meet two (2) of the following requirements for a 4 year college: 

• 1100 on SAT (critical reading & math)/24 on ACT (composite) 

• 3.0 GPA upon graduation 

• Top 30% of graduating class

• $ 2,650

• For students who do not qualify for Palmetto or LIFE

• Non-renewable
