Hello! My name is Rhonda Miller, and I love being a part of The Paris Elementary community. I am originally from Vermont. I moved to Charlotte, NC in 1993 and graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a B.A. in Elementary Education. I have taught for over 20 years in North Carolina, teaching kindergarten, first grade, and third grade. My past experiences include training with the Letterland Phonics program and Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling. I am passionate about helping children develop a love for reading and writing.
My family moved from Mooresville, NC to Greenville three summers ago and we absolutely love it here! We enjoy exploring local restaurants, parks, and shops. In my free time, I enjoy attending theatrical shows and musicals, and my family and I love going to the beach.
My husband and I have three beautiful children. Our oldest daughter, Kimber, graduated from Clemson University, while our other daughter, Kaylin, graduated from The University of South Carolina. Both work as registered nurses here in Greenville. Our son, Cole, is a sophomore at Wade Hampton High School. We also have a little dog named Bodi and a turtle named Squirt.
I am truly looking forward to working with you and your child and helping your child learn and grow this year!
