Starting points for research - try looking at books, websites, databases, or even newspapers! Not sure how to find those things? Check out the resources below.
In Destiny you can look up what books are available in the library. You can log in with Google and place holds on any you'd like to get! We'll go ahead and check them out and place them in your homeroom teacher's box to give to you.
Sora is the district's ebook and audiobook library! You can access this through Classlinks, but there is also an app you can download to a personal device to sync as you read at home and at school.
Discus is a collection of databases, so you might use Gale in Context, or Credo Reference, or StudySC - all in Discus!
If you need to use Discus at home, you may be asked for a username and password. Please email me if you don't already have that information!

As a reminder you always want to check for the following when you're searching online:
check author credentials
check for date of publication
read for purpose/audience to see why the author wrote the information
check for bias
check any claims you find elsewhere through lateral reading (google the claim and see who else is reporting the same information)
