We are fortunate enough to have lots of technology and curriculum resources available to us and this site is designed to give you more information on tech tools and resources you might want to use in your classrooms. All the technology mentioned on this site is approved for use with our students, some has been provided by GCS, and some is licensed through your school (and may be available for individual licenses if your school has not purchased it). If you have questions about any technology you find here, please contact Ms. Fuller.
When you are considering new technology, please be aware that any new program/app/software/website that might use the students' personally identifiable information (PII) is not something you want to use in class. You must check the list of approved technology for which GCS has negotiated Data Sharing Agreements. Pay close attention to the information that is allowed to be shared! There is also a list of technology that was evaluated and is not able to be used because the vendor would not sign a DSA or there was another issue that prevents us from using it safely.
There is a process for getting new technology approved, and it starts with the school-site administration. Here is a link to that, including the form which principals turn in to Academics for review.
