Welcome! I have been teaching in public schools for 16 years. This is my fourth year at Bell's Crossing Elementary. Before that, I taught six years at Robert E. Cashion Elementary, five years at Sue Cleveland Elementary and two years in Pennsylvania. I received my Bachelors of Music degree in Music Education, concentration in piano and voice at Grove City College. I am certified to teach K-12 music and chorus. My musical hobbies include playing piano, clarinet, singing, and listening to all types of music. I am also in the process of learning how to play the trumpet and guitar. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and bicycling outdoors, photography, dancing, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy traveling the world and listening to/learning about music from different countries. I have been to Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Ireland, England, Wales, and Scotland. My dream is to visit Austria, Switzerland, New Zealand, and other regions of the United States. In addition to teaching music classes, I direct the chorus at Bell's Crossing. I wish everyone a successful school year, and I look forward to teaching AND learning from all of my musical shining stars!
