About Me

Hello! My name is Ann Turner and I am so excited to be your child’s third grade teacher this year. I attended the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) where I received a Bachelor’s and Master's degree in early childhood education. 

As a teacher, it is my goal to meet each child where they are and give them what they need to be successful. I love planning engaging and interactive lessons. It is my hope to get to know each student personally and build a relationship that fosters growth and learning. The more I get to know my students, the better I can serve them in the classroom. 

In my classroom, I will hold your child to high expectations. We will complete rigorous yet engaging work. I aim to make school a place your child loves to be and instill in them a passion for learning. I am looking forward to a great year at REC!
