Welcome! My name is Mrs. Bernadette Dumdum, and I am the READ 180 Teacher and Special Education Case Manager at Hughes Academy Middle School. This school year marks my third year at Hughes Academy.
With 17 years of teaching experience, I am passionate about helping students become confident readers and lifelong learners. I believe every student has the ability to succeed when they are supported, encouraged, and challenged in a positive learning environment.
My goal is to create a classroom where students feel safe, respected, and inspired to do their best each day. I am committed to helping every student build strong literacy skills, grow in confidence, and reach their full potential. I look forward to partnering with families to support student success throughout the school year.
