Students have the opportunity to take high school credit courses here at Ralph Chandler Middle once they are in the 7th grade. These classes will begin a student's grade point average (GPA). A student's GPA is one of the things colleges consider when admitting students.
To be successful in the high school level courses, students must have the following characteristics:
Well-organized
Work independently without supervision
Highly motivated
Proficient reader
Turns work in on time
Skilled in email communication and Google Classroom
Able to manage time

Orchestra 1
Computer Tech Class Fundamentals Part B
Virtual Class Options- these classes will still meet on campus during the school day, but the class will be taught online by a high school teacher. A facilitator will monitor the class.
Creative Writing
Personal Finance (high school requirement for graduation)
