Personal/Social Domain:
Middle school presents new challenges for students as they navigate new waters in both their academics and their social lives. As counselors, we are here to listen and provide support to students so they can work to resolve their challenges and gain useful skills and experience as a result. For students with challenges that are longer-term and require regular sessions, we can provide referrals to community agencies and advise on community resources which may be of assistance.
We are trained to counsel students in the areas of:
Stress Management
Anxiety
Depression
Grief/Loss
Divorce/Family Changes
Conflict Resolution
Self-Advocacy
Social Skills
Bullying
