I am Ms. Walker. I have two daughters. One lives here in Greenville and the other lives in Columbia. During my free time I like to read, swim, play pickle ball and watch college football. I grew up in Tennessee, but I have lived in South Carolina for most of my adult life.
I attended college at East Tennessee State University where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Master’s Degree from Southern Wesleyan University.
This year I will celebrate my 38th year of teaching. Most of those years have been spent teaching first or second grade. I have also worked as a reading interventionist for six years, which is what I will be teaching this school year.
I am very excited to begin a new school year. I look forward to working with the students and helping to make their school experience positive and successful!
