Hi! My name is Stephanie Powell and I am so excited to be your child's third grade teacher. I am eager to start this new year and partner with you to help your child have an amazing year!
One of my highest priorities is to maintain communication with you about your child and what is happening in the classroom. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
This will be my tenth year in the classroom. I have taught both kindergarten (2 years) and first grade (7 years).
I graduated in 2015 with my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with an added certification in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
I graduated in 2024 with my master's degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
I was born in Richmond, VA, however, I moved to Chattanooga, TN when I was in elementary school. I moved to South Carolina in 2017 with my husband Austin who grew up in the Simpsonville area. We moved here to be closer to his family. My family moved from Tennessee in 2019 and now lives in the upstate as well.
My husband and I have a sweet 4-year-old little girl named Lakelyn. We also have four fur babies: a dog (Gracie), 2 cats (Pearl & Winter), and one kitten (Baby Midnight).
In my spare time, I love spending time with family and friends, reading, and trying out new places!
