Welcome to 8th Grade Science!  I so excited to begin a new year and to introduce you to new science concepts.  You will begin the year learning about safety in the science classroom and how to properly use lab equipment.  After that you will work your way through six units of study: motion and stability, waves and their applications, molecules to organisms, inheritance of traits, biological evolution and earth's place in the universe.  While you are working on the physics units there will be some math involved.  I am posting a document with the first two units of 8th grade standards below.

All of your assignments as well as important announcements will be posted in google classroom.  Announcements will be on the Stream tab and assignments will be on the classwork tab.  There will also be resources for you to use on the classwork tab.
