Classroom Procedures
During instructional times, please stay seated unless you have specific permission from the teacher. This helps to minimize distractions for other students. During designated work times, you will be allowed to move more freely unless your actions cause distractions for other students.
Bell Ringer: Every day when students enter the classroom, a bell ringer will be posted and students should begin working on the assignment immediately after adding any homework assignments to their planner.
Restroom/Hall Passes: Please follow proper classroom procedures when asking the teacher to use your passes. You must sign in and out whenever you leave the classroom for any reason.
Questions/Comments: I will always welcome on-topic and relevant questions or comments as long as the following 2 requirements are met. 1) You follow the proper procedure to be recognized and 2) Time permits such questions or discussions, if time is limited then I will address the student when time permits.
Discipline
My goal is to teach all my students in a manner that is engaging and interesting. In order to do so, I have high expectations for my students and demand a learning environment that is safe and inviting for everyone. Failure to meet those expectations will result in disciplinary action.
