I have lived in several states, but I am honored to consider South Carolina my home. I am excited to be a Trojan. I completed both my bachelors in English and my Masters in Secondary Education at the University of South Carolina. For fun I enjoy being outside with friends and family, and I love watching movies and reading. I tend to gravitate toward non-fiction text these days, but a good novel is always welcome.  

When it comes to teaching I am excited to be in the classroom, and am constantly trying to grow in the profession. I want to always challenge myself to come up with creative lesson plans that help prepare students for a happy and productive life after high school.
