If a student violates any part of the GCS Student Acceptable Use Policy, he/she will be subject to the following discipline at Paris Elementary:
Violation 1 – Student will lose Chromebook privileges for the remainder of the day and the following school day.
Violation 2 – Student will lose Chromebook privileges for 3 days.
Violation 3 – Student will lose Chromebook privileges for 30 days / 1 month.
Violation 4 – Student will have their Chromebook privileges revoked for the remainder of the school year. Technology fee will not be refunded.
Any student who violates Privacy Laws will lose Chromebook privileges until the Technology Committee is able to meet and determine the severity of the incident and the appropriate consequence. Privacy Law include, but are not limited to, sharing passwords, using others' credentials, or sharing photos, videos, or other personal information.
When a student loses Chromebook privileges, the Chromebook will returned to other Media Center for the predetermined amount of time. An alternative assignments may be given.
