The Mission of Washington Center is to provide opportunities for students to explore and develop potential for independent functioning and community involvement by addressing students' individual needs and creating a partnership with home, school, and community.

My students range from pre-k through ages 21. My school day serving students begins at 7:15AM and concludes @2:45PM. Domains/skills taught during each lesson include: ELA, Math, Social skills, Functional Communication, daily living skills, and social studies. Students receive instruction in a combination of in-person 1:1 lessons and live whole group lessons using aligned state standards.

     This is my 23rd year teaching students with varying exceptionalities from ages 2-22. In addition, I served students for 5 years in a related field. I am certified to teach students from pre-k through age 22. I graduated from Loyola College (now Loyola University) and earned my M.S.ED. from Old Dominion University as well as a Graduate Certificate in Autism Studies from Liberty University.

My husband and I have been married for 41 years, with 4 married children, and our youngest of our five children, is a Clemson University Sophomore. Go Tigers!

In our spare time, we enjoy time, travel and sports with our 13 grandchildren.
