About the Teacher

Hello! My name is Pam Brackett and I am excited to join the Greer Middle School Family this year. I have been in education for 19 years. I spent 10 of those years as a middle school teacher in Spartanburg County District Two and 5 as an Instructional Coach in the same district. For the last 3 years I have been traveling with 2 educational companies as a Facilitator and Instructional Coach. I am happy to be back in the classroom where my passion for students began. Teaching is my second career and I earned my Masters through Converse College. I have been married to Steve for 36 years and together we have 2 adult children. Amber is my oldest and an Attorney as well as co-owner of Southern Cheer Elite and Southern Dance Connection. My son, Austin, is a construction contractor and the baby of the family. We have 3 grandchildren, Tempi age 12, Bastion age 6, and Grayson age 3. In my spare time you will find me reading a book, working out at Krypton of the Carolinas, shopping with my sister or hanging out with my grands. I love to travel and am always up for the next adventure.
