I am from Florence, went to college at The University of South Carolina in Columbia (Go Cocks!), lived in Charleston for two years, and then moved to Greenville! I've lived in South Carolina all my life thus far, but I have been blessed to be able to go all around the world as well! I have visited England, France, Germany, Tanzania, Belize, Spain, and Ireland.

I've always loved reading, mostly because of how much I loved superheroes and comics growing up. I never really stopped reading comics and it's still one of my favorite things to do. In high school, I discovered that I also really liked writing, especially when it is about something I'm interested in. 

My hope for my students is that I can help you find what you enjoy reading or writing about. It might take some time and you may have to do some work you might not like, but if you work with me, I think we can have a lot of fun!
