Parents/Guardians & Students,
We are beginning the registration process for the 26-27 school year. This involves both teacher recommendations for academic courses and student requests for related arts courses.
Students will complete their Related Arts course requests during a classroom lesson with a school counselor. To help your student prepare for this, please review the related arts courses and descriptions that are linked below.
In mid-March you will receive a "Course Request/Recommendation Letter" for your student that will outline which academic courses they have been recommended for as well as their top and alternate related arts requests. At this time you will be able to indicate if you would like to make any changes to their requests. Please note that no changes to requests will be permitted after May 22, 2026.
Rising 6th/7th/8th Related Arts Requests:
As required by state law, all students will be required to take P.E./Health. To complete their schedule, all students must select additional related arts courses equivalent to 3 semesters of courses. To meet this requirement, students have two options:
Option 1: Three (3) semester courses to be paired with P.E.
Option 2: One (1) semester course and one (1) year-long course to be paired with P.E.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SELECT A YEAR-LONG COURSE. If you choose to select a year-long course, you may select only one.
All students will request primary and alternate choices.
