Meet the Staff

My name is Lori Rizk and I am the new Media Specialist. This will be my 8th year in education. I taught 1st grade for 4 years. While teaching 1st grade, I went back to school and got a Master's in Library and Information Science. I then moved 2 doors down the hall to the library in the same school and was the Media Specialist for 3 years.

I have two sons, Jacob, who will be in 10th grade, and Ethan, who will be in 7th grade here at Northwest. We love to travel, go hiking, camping, fishing, and all things outdoors. My favorite genre of book is Horror. Love all things scary!I I cannot wait to see what this year brings!

Tami Ferguson has been the Media Clerk at Northwest Middle since 2005. Tami holds an Associate Degree in Computer Engineering Technology from Tampa Technical Institute. Before coming to Northwest, Tami worked as a kindergarten aide at Heritage Elementary.

Tami lives in Travelers Rest and has a grown son and daughter. She enjoys spending time with their families and spends most weekends spoiling her seven grandchildren.
