As a class, we follow the I Promise method for behavior in our classroom. We discuss what these promises mean, and how they make learning fair and accessible to everyone in our classroom. 

In our class we will recognize behavior using a ticket system. Each student will be given a ticket at the beginning of each school day. They can earn additional tickets through positive interactions and behaviors throughout the school day. 

Students can also lose tickets throughout the day due to non-desirable behaviors. If student behavior disrupts our classroom, those behaviors will be addressed with the student's community of support, including parents, administrators, and teachers. 

Behavior disruptions will always be addressed directly by Mrs. Poore through email, phone, or in person conferences.

Tickets will be cashed in using a lottery system at the end of each week! The more tickets students have, the more chances they have to win a prize.
