Welcome! My name is Natalie Ninneman and I am thrilled to be teaching your child for the 2025-2026 school year! This is my seventh year teaching 5th Grade at Fork Shoals and cannot wait to see what amazing things this year has in store. We have had a challenging last few years with everything going on, but I am dedicated to making sure your child's last year in elementary school the best one yet!
Just a little about me... My family moved from Ohio to the amazing Greenville, SC when I was just a baby. My dad is from Wisconsin which is where my Green Bay Packer obsession comes from! I attended school in Greenville County all my life before graduating from JL Mann in 2015. After graduation, I went on to the best school ever, The University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!). I graduated with my bachelors in Elementary Education in May 2019. During my time at Carolina, I completed my student teaching in both second and fifth grade at Bridge Creek Elementary, but fifth grade was where I knew my heart was. I absolutely love the personalities and energy the students bring into the classroom at this age.
I currently live in Simpsonville and have three older brothers (technically two but we have "adopted" another into the family), one sister (also "adopted") , wonderful parents, and an amazing niece. I recently adopted my sweet baby, Elsie, from a rescue. Another huge part of my family is our four other dogs: Chase, Katie, Bruno, and Stella.
Being a teacher has always been my dream. I believe that there is no greater impact one can have than to educate our next generation and give them the tools to make the world a better place. I feel truly blessed to be in this profession.
When I am not in my classroom, I love to watch sports, cook, read, travel, and spend time with friends and family!
