Parents can use any of the methods below to reach me. However, I HIGHLY prefer email, since you very rarely can reach me directly by phone, and, as a result, we usually end up playing "phone tag" for several days.

Yes, if you will click on the link above entitled "Home", you will see my tutoring times in a red strip in the middle of the page. In general, I am available each morning before school and each afternoon after school. I am not usually available on Wednesdays after school due to regularly scheduled meetings and after school on Fridays, as I use this time to get ready for the following week. Otherwise, the student can just come and see me. Occasionally, I will have a student meeting which prevents me from being found during one of these times. However, these meetings are usually rare.
Before school, students will need a pass. They can get one from me the day before, or email me and will email them back the next morning when I get to school on how they can come and see me.
Please have students come and see me when they don't understand sooner rather than later!!!
If you click on the link above with your student's class subject, you will come to a set of calendars. Find your student's class period and look at the calendar below. I post tentative dates for quizzes and tests planned for the unit we are in. I also remind students regularly about upcoming tests and quizzes in class.
In the calendar link to the left, I post all of the notes, assignments, and, occasionally, a supplemental video each day. It is the students responsibility to get the assignment from this calendar. To do this, click on the day that the student missed. In the description, will be links to the notes and assignment(s). Click on the link to open the file in Google Drive. (Occasionally, I restrict access to Greenville County Schools only due to copyright issues. Therefore, the student will most likely want to sign in using his, or her, school Google account to prevent loss of access.)
I grade homework predominately based on completion. If the student does their homework and shows work supporting their answer, they get a 100. After I grade the homework, I give them the answers and we review any that they do not understand. However, some students do not understand and do not ask; therefore, they get to the quiz or test and do not know. To prevent this, students should either ask me for clarification in class during the homework review or come to my classroom during one of my tutoring times for help.
