Mr. Carrell
I am originally from Texas, although I was born and raised on the Texas-Arkansas border. This is my eighth year teaching. After receiving my BS in Mathematics from Texas A&M University – Texarkana in May of 2009, I spent 2 years working as a math tutor, and the second year I was given the opportunity to be a part-time adjunct mathematics professor at Texarkana College. I was then hired as a full-time mathematics teacher at Texas High School, where I taught for 2 years before coming to the Greenville area. Just before relocating to Greenville in June of 2013, I earned my master’s degree from Texas A&M University – Texarkana. More recently, I taught for 5 years at Hillcrest High School in Simpsonville.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy playing sports, especially golf, playing the piano and guitar, singing, and reading.
I am excited about the opportunities here at Wade Hampton. I look forward to teaching my favorite subject – math.
