Mrs. Allen

I have been teaching in Greenville County for 23  years. This is my 34th year as an educator. I love children and teaching and I can't imagine ever doing anything else. I am originally from Florida where I graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I later received certification in Early Childhood Education. I returned to school to earn my ESOL certification from Clemson. This will be my tenth year as a ESOL teacher. I taught in Florida for eight years before moving to South Carolina. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Craig, for 32 years and have two sons. Jacob is 27 and is a PE teacher in Greenville County. Daniel is 23 and is a personal fitness trainer for the YMCA and is also training to be a plumber like his father. We live in Powdersville with our dog, Stewie.  My family loves camping in the mountains and going to the beach. This past summer we had a great time traveling. We got to spend time in Florida and  cruising to the carribbean.
