I was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida and most of my family still lives there. I attended the University of Tennessee, the University of Cincinnati, and Georgia State University. My boys and I moved to Greenville 11 years ago from Atlanta, Georgia. This is my seventh year teaching 5th grade at Ellen Woodside.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and pets. I enjoy reading a wide variety of books, but mysteries are my favorite. I love grooming our horses and messing around in my garden. We visit my family in West Palm Beach frequently, so I also really like the beach.  

I am mom to two amazing boys, Luke and Matt who are both attending Greenville Tech. We live down a dirt road on 6 acres in Pelzer.  We like to rescue animals, so our pets outnumber us. We have a German Shepherd (Copper), two cats (Raven and Journey), 2 horses (Chili and Beau), and 12 chickens (they don't all have names).
