Courtney Taylor

My name is Courtney Taylor, and I teach 6th-grade Social Studies! This will be my fourth year at Lakeview Middle and my sixth year in Greenville County Schools.  I have a degree in elementary education from  USC Upstate, located in Spartanburg, SC. I am excited to be a part of LMS because I have dedicated the past five years to forming and maintaining meaningful relationships with students, and I cannot wait to continue to see them grow! In my spare time, I love to read and spend time with my family, friends, and dog. One of my favorite quotes is by Benjamin Franklin: “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”. I love this quote because it aligns with how I teach and involve students in the learning process. I’m excited about all this year has to offer and cannot wait to see all the great things our students will do!
