Meet the Teachers

Hi! My name is Jessica Stevens and I will be your child's K4 teacher! I am so excited for this school year! This is my third year at Mauldin Elementary and the two years before that I was a K4 aide at Blythe Academy. I attended the University of South Carolina where I received my BA in Early Childhood Education. Being a teacher has always been a dream of mine! I am originally from Tampa, Florida but was raised in Simpsonville. I grew up in a family of five with two younger brothers. I have an 9 year old golden retriever named Ronan! He is my sweet boy who loves to go on walks and car rides to get pup cups. :) I love to read all kinds of books, attend church, watch baseball (the Chicago Cubs!), and spend time with my family and friends! I look forward to an amazing school year!

My name is Julie Woodruff and I am excited to be a first time 4k Aide at Mauldin Elementary School. I have worked with children for a long time in my previous career but missed working with kids when I retired. I am excited to meet the children and see them have fun while growing and learning this year.

I am a native of Georgia but have also lived in Florida, Alabama and moved to South Carolina in the Spring of 2025. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Communication Sciences and went on to become a pediatric audiologist for 30 years! I retired in January 2025 and relocated to South Carolina for the wonderful town that Greenville is but also because of how close it is to the mountains and so much nature. I love to hike, explore and travel, do nature photography, but my biggest passion is reading and books!
