Rules and Procedures

Students are expected to follow the school-wide rules in Art Class.

Art Class Rules

• Be respectful to others and yourself.

• Do your best work and stay on task.

• Be in control of your actions.

Rewards of following the Art Class rules:

1. Terrific Tickets or Brier Bucks

2. Prizes for best table  (a table that listens to the lesson, has a reasonable noise level, cleans up great) 

3. Great Artwork!

Consequences of not following the Art Class rules:

1. Warning

2. Separation from group, 5 minutes

3. Grades K-1, Note on Behavior Chart,  2 - 5, Lose a block

4. Contact Parent

Grading

80% of a student's grade in Art Class is participation.  20% is art standards based, or how they completed the assignment.

M = Meeting Standards

P = Progressing Towards Standards
