All About Ms. Stegen

Hello! My name is Amanda Stegen and I am a first grade teacher at Hollis Academy. I graduated from Furman University with a degree in Music, and received my Masters from Converse University in Early Childhood Education. Currently, I am working on my +30 Masters in English as a Second Language. I am originally from Denver, Colorado, but have resided in South Carolina for over 10 years. I love to spend time with my family and friends, doing anything outdoors, especially in the Appalachia Mountains. In addition to teaching, I am training to become a raft guide on the Chattooga River, which is where you can find me most weekends. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, especially quilting, exploring all Greenville has to offer, reading, and playing the trumpet. I am excited to begin my fourth year at Hollis!
