Hi families! My name is Ms. Ryder, and I’m so excited to be your child’s 4th grade teacher this year! This is my third year teaching 4th grade at our school, and I truly feel lucky to be part of such a supportive and vibrant community.
In our classroom, my goal is to create a safe, loving, and hard-working environment where every student feels seen, valued, and challenged. I believe all students can achieve great things when given the right tools and encouragement!
I have a deep passion for teaching and love seeing students grow—both academically and personally—throughout the year. I hold high expectations for each of my students and work to foster a culture of academic discourse, where students are encouraged to think deeply, share ideas, and respectfully learn from one another. My goal is to help your child build strong skills and confidence that will prepare them for success in the next grade and beyond.
I’m looking forward to a wonderful year full of learning, growth, and fun!
