Dear Parents/Legal Guardians,
Welcome to our class! Again I say OUR class because I believe in a strong relationship between student, parent, and teacher. I feel that there should be a triangle of learning which include the three of us. Students are more successful when they have a village building them up and holding them accountable. As a teacher, I also would like parents to hold me accountable and let me know if there is any way that I can better serve your child.
My goal is to help each child gain a growth mindset and a strong academic base in his/her 9th grade year so that they are successful in completing high school and go on to have rewarding lives rather they go off to college or to the workforce.
I look forward to teaching math and life skills to your children this year!
