Hi! I’m Ms. Knittel (Kuh-Nittel), and I’m so excited to teach you Biology this year! 

This is my third year at Greenville High and I LOVE being a Red Raider. I’m originally from Augusta, Georgia, but I came to the Upstate for college and fell in love with it, so I never left! I live right here in Downtown Greenville with my two beautiful cats, Jane and Punkin. 

I've loved biology for as long as I can remember. Growing up with a veterinarian dad meant I was constantly surrounded by animals and science. After exploring a few different majors, earning a couple of different degrees, and trying out some other careers, I finally realized that teaching is what I'm meant to do. There’s truly nowhere I'd rather be than in my classroom! 

When I’m not in the classroom, you can probably find me coaching cheer, helping HOSA run smoothly, marathon training, leading worship across the state, or screaming “GO DAWGS” in Athens on game day!

Whether you love or hate science, I’m here for YOU! My goal is to help you succeed, and hopefully you learn some cool things about the world we live in along the way. 🤩🧬🪲🔬
