Hi there...Here is a little bit about me! This will be my third year in 4th grade and at Fork Shoals School. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in American Sign Language. I feel so lucky to get to spend another year of my  teaching journey with our Fork Shoals family!

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to become a teacher. I have always said that teaching runs in my blood...My mom is a 1st grade teacher, my aunt is a 6th grade teacher, my Papa was a teacher in Special Education, and my great grandmother was both a teacher and a principal for many years! Being a teacher is exactly what I was made to do, and I feel so thankful to get to be in a classroom every day!

I was born in Castle Rock, Colorado, but grew up in Southern California. While I grew up near the ocean, my heart has always belonged to the mountains! I moved back to Colorado for college and recently found my way out to South Carolina by following my extended family!

My husband, Steven, and I welcomed a furry, four-legged friend this summer! Our days have been filled with lots of playing and snuggles from our new pup, Moose!

When I am not in the classroom, you can often find me with my nose in a book, spending time with my family, or getting outdoors! Steven and I love hiking and camping and spending time on the lake. We also love cheering on the Clemson Tigers and exploring new places! Spending time with both of our families is something we never take for granted and always enjoy.
