I am so excited to work with you and your child in Math and Science for their fifth grade school year at Gateway Elementary! I am confident that it’s going to be the best school year yet, filled with fun, a lot of learning, and many new adventures, but first I thought you might like to know a little about me!

I grew up in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia where I graduated from Marshall University with my bachelor’s degree in elementary education and my master’s degree in literacy education. GO HERD!

I spend a lot of my time planning fun activities for my students, but in my free time, I enjoy cooking, being active, spending time with family and friends, lake days, and traveling!

My mission is to teach in a way that every student grows and desires to become a lifelong learner! I think it is so important to keep an open line of communication, and I am always willing to talk with you and will keep you continuously involved in what is going on in our classroom!
