Parents,
This semester, I will be teaching English 2 H.
Students taking English 2 H will be studying World Literature, along with argument and rhetoric. Throughout the semester, students will build their critical reading, writing, and thinking skills, as well as learning how to create a solid argument. At the end of the semester, students will take a state-given End-of-Course (EOC) exam that is worth 20% of their final grade in the class. This exam is considered their final exam.
You will be kept up to date on all assignments through Backpack, Google Classroom, and/or email. I will also be sending out a newsletter to all parents/guardians at the beginning of each unit.
