Sandra Godfrey

Hello! 

My name is Sandra Godfrey, and I am a native of Dearborn, MI. I moved to South Carolina in 1986 to attend school and fell in love with SC! I have always worked in some capacity with children and students through daycare, after school programs, PTA, and youth associations. I earned my B. Ed. in Middle School Social Studies & Language Arts from the University of South Carolina, and  have been a teacher with Greenville County Schools since 2009. I took a short break from teaching to continue building my wedding and event planning business  that I  established in 2015. I am so lucky to have two passions that I find great joy in doing--and interestingly enough both worlds often cross paths as I've had the pleasure of working with former students both as clients and guests, and even sometimes as employees!  

I am super excited to be working with all grades on character education and leadership through various community projects, school spirit, and student leadership opportunities in Service Learning classes for 6, 7, 8, and to be bringing the wonderful world of theatre to the classroom, as well as to the stage through our afterschool drama club, The Panther Players.
