Sandra Godfrey

Hello! 

My name is Sandra Godfrey, and I am a native of Dearborn, MI. I moved to South Carolina in 1986 to attend school and fell in love with SC! I have always worked in some capacity with children and students through daycare, after school programs, PTA, and youth associations. I earned my B. Ed. in Middle School Social Studies & Language Arts from the University of South Carolina, and  have been a teacher with Greenville County Schools since 2009. I took a short break from teaching to continue building my wedding and event planning business  that I  established in 2015. I own The Venue at Falls Park in downtown Greenville, and recently opened another venue called Park Place Luxe in April 2023. I run all three businesses with my grown children and their wives. I am so lucky to have two passions that I find great joy in doing--and interestingly enough both worlds often cross paths as I've had the pleasure of working with former students both as clients and guests, and even sometimes as employees!  

My kids took over the day-to-day operations so I could get back into the classroom. I am super excited to be here at RCMS and to be working with each one of you.
