Graphic Arts and Design  will focus on the application of the elements of art and principles of design to various online image editing softwares. Students will learn some of the many tools available to use in order to edit photos, draw (with a Wacom Tablet), layer photos, create original artwork, design logos, and more. 

Students will be using a program called GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) for the majority of the class. This program is an open source, community built, freely distributed software available for artists of all ages!
