Hi! My name is Carrie Barry, and I am thrilled to be your child's fourth grade teacher this year! This will be my eighth year teaching, and my fifth year in fourth grade. Previously, I taught at Woodruff Primary School in Second Grade for 2 years, then taught 2nd grade at Greenbrier, I had a year as a 4th grade virtual teacher, and finally came back to the classroom in 4th grade.
I am originally from New Jersey, and moved down to Greenville 9 years ago with my husband, Dave. I attended Guilford College in Greensboro, NC where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. After college, I moved back to New Jersey to be with my family and began my journey in education.
Dave and I have a cat named Angus who is extra fluffy, and have a wonderful daughter, Corinne, who will enter Greenbrier in the 4K program this year!Â
