Who? My full name is Marione Auriela Sienes-Besas Dunn but most of my students call me by my nickname, Mrs. Ella, and some call me Mrs. Dunn. I am one of the speech therapists with Greenville County Schools.
What (do I do)? I graduated from Northeastern University with my Bachelor's degree & Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology in May 2015. I absolutely love my job and the kids I work with. Helping them find a voice and/or the ability to speak their heart out brings me great joy and I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do.
Other than my job, I also love being with my friends & family, running/cycling, traveling, dancing (aka jumping up and down to great music), watching football (NFL), and eating sweets.
Where (do I live)? I was raised in Harriman, New York but lived in Boston, Massachusetts for 6 years before moving to Greenville, South Carolina- my home since since 2017.
(My) Why? I hope to live to help often and love big and my job allows me to do just that, with the students I work with.
