MEet Ms. thompson

Hi! I am from Lyman, South Carolina, which is in our neighboring county of Spartanburg. I went to James F. Byrnes High School where I participated in cheerleading, lacrosse, and various academic clubs. Once graduated, I went to Clemson University where I earned my B.A. in Communication and History in 2020. I am currently enrolled at Furman University where I am pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching so that I may become a high school social studies teacher. It is through this program that I will be doing my student teaching with you all. During the Fall, I will join you on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In the Spring, I will be with you everyday! In my free time, I love to spend time with family and friends, bake new sweets, and paint. During the summer, you can find me by the pool, on the beach, or at Disney World with a Dole Whip in hand!
