About Me

I started teaching at Tigerville in August of 2000 and Mountain View in 2005 and I must say that I teach at two of the best schools in Greenville County. I am so blessed to not only live in the community but to work here as well. I have the best co-workers and students around!

I have five step kids, 1 dog and my daughters dog, three brothers, two kids, and one sister-that’s a lot! I am a widow, my husband was killed in an accident in 2005, but my step kids are still a very important part of our lives. My son, Brandon, graduated from BRHS in 2016 and Brooke, my daughter, graduated in 2017. Brooke is now in her second year of teaching at Skyland Elementary as a 4th grade teacher. Prissy and Presley are the two dogs that keep something going ALL the time. I am cleaning up after them, playing with them, chasing them or feeding them all day! And at night, I even get to sleep with them. How lucky can I be?

I graduated from North Greenville in 1985 with Performance degrees in voice and piano and from Winthrop in 1992 with my Teaching degree. I spent 6 years teaching in NC before moving back home in 2000.
