Hello all! My name is Kaitlynn Baxa. I grew up in Illinois and then moved to South Carolina to earn a degree in Secondary Math Education from Bob Jones University. This is my second year teaching at J L Mann. Outside of the classroom, I help coach the Mann Robotics Teams. I look forward to sharing my love of learning with all my students this year whether in engineering or programming.

 I love spending time with my friends and family when I am not at school. I enjoy making and trying new foods, hiking, crafting, reading, and learning new things. I am looking forward to a wonderful year together. Some of my favorite things are rain, laughter, bucket hats, and my guinea pigs, Fig Newton and Oreo.
