About Ms. Anderson

Hi! My name is Annika Anderson and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. It is my tremendous privilege to teach your child with your support. I truly believe it takes a village to raise children. This is my fourth year teaching third grade. I have previously taught preschool, second grade, and art. I also assisted in leading a nonprofit teaching writing skills in seventh and eighth grade classrooms. But third grade is my absolute favorite grade! 😉 I received my B.A. from University of California, Santa Cruz, in addition to my teaching credential and Master's Degree in Teaching Reading from San Diego State University. 

When I am not in the classroom I love spending time reading a good book, gardening, or outside in nature. You might see me out on the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
