Welcome to a New School Year!
I'm excited about the new school year and look forward to learning and growing together! We're going to have a wonderful year filled with learning, growth, and fun.
I have worked in Special Education with Greenville County Schools for 15 years and have been a part of the Plain Elementary family since November 2016. I am certified in Emotional Disabilities Special Education and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.
I have lived in the Mauldin area for most of my life. I have two children: Bryson, a Clemson University graduate who recently accepted a job in Charleston, South Carolina, and Ethan, a senior at Mauldin High School. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling to Charleston to visit Bryson and cheering on Ethan as he plays lacrosse for Mauldin High School.
Please feel free to contact me by email at msaettel@greenville.k12.sc.us or by phone at 864-355-7768. I will return your message within 24 hours.
I look forward to partnering with you and sharing a wonderful school year with you and your child!
Mrs. Fendley, our paraprofessional, is highly qualified and is beginning her 14th year at Plain Elementary. She and her husband, Jason, have been married for 30 years and have four children. Two of their children attend Clemson University and North Greenville University, and two have recently graduated from college and currently work in Greenville County. All of their children attended Plain Elementary from kindergarten through fifth grade. In her free time, Mrs. Fendley enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers!
Mr. Chambers, our paraprofessional, is highly qualified and is beginning his 15th year at Plain Elementary. He and his wife, Debbie, have been married for 44 years and have three children and six grandchildren. When Mr. Chambers isn't spending time with his family, you can usually find him on the golf course!
